Your Voting Power

Recently, I was in Woodland Park, Colorado, where Pike’s Peak was the view outside the window of the conference which my granddaughter and I were attending. Near the large pond was a sign that stated, “20,000,000 years ago, on this spot,...absolutely nothing happened since the Lord had not created the Earth yet.” Andrew Wommach

According to NASA, that appears to be a true statement. They have determined the Earth to be quite young. Today, in our government schools, the theory of evolution is taught as if it scientific fact, which it is not. Evolution has been debunked by thousands of true scientists, many of whom had once been evolutionists. Our country was founded on the belief that all men are created equal and endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That is diametrically opposed to socialism and its evolutionary politicized religion.

The same type of teaching in government schools across the country is true of the blatant misrepresentation of Islam and Christianity. Islam is not just a religion, it is a political system which espouses violence, though it is taught as a “peaceful religion”. Any who are not faithful to Islam are deemed those who are to be eliminated. In most government schools in the United States, the Christian faith is not even mentioned in a positive manner. Many believe the lie we can’t even mention the name of God or bow our heads in prayer. Muslims are given the opportunity to pray often.

It is interesting that militant Muslims partnered with Hitler to exterminate the Jews and Christians. Socialism, Communism, Islam, fascism, and Hitler’s Nazism all have evolution and the survival of the fittest as key points in their autocratic rule.

Why am I harping on these things? My reason is that our younger generations have been increasingly taught lies about our country’s beginning. They have been taught that Christianity is a hateful religion. However, those countries, including the United states, where the teachings and foundations have been Judeo-Christian have created hospitals, schools, orphanages and promoted prosperity. The Christian faith continues to lift the poor and the status of women.

The opposite is true of all of those based in evolutionary or Muslim political foundations. Beware! We are very close to having the United States being overrun in the same way with such dictatorial systems. It is time for us to stand up and vote in leaders who will not cower to leftist and socialist demands to change the foundations and freedoms so dearly purchased by our forefathers.

There is not a country on Earth, including America, which has not suffered or been a part of some horrific war “experiment”. However, in the final evaluation, only those nations based upon personal freedom and equality have been blessed by God to help lift the rest of humanity from the depths of immoral and chaotic and despotic rule.

Our declaration of Independence declared to the world that we were going to be a new breed of free citizenry, one that believed in God as our Creator and sustainer. The United States, Israel, Great Britain and most of our other allies have been blessed by God. Our motto, derived from a verse from the “Star Spangled Banner” is “In God we trust!”

We dare not let our school systems continue to teach children and young people to remain ignorant and “dumbed down”. Nor can we afford to ignorantly vote for those who espouse abortion killing of babies. We cannot continue to allow the teaching that the desert god, Allah, is the same as the God of all creation.

Why did I start this article with the falsehood of Evolution? To believe such a falsehood, requires that we do not believe in the God who sent Jesus of Nazareth to destroy the works of the Evil one. It was he who said to go into all the world under his authority and proclaim that all men and women can now be freed from the sin nature.

The inspired words of the Bible proclaim that we are spirit beings, capable of being newly created by our compassionate God; to be transformed by renewing our minds (learning) to serve mankind with goodness and mercy. That is almost too good to be true news,… and we want to stifle that in the schools?

Vote Life, not death. Vote freedom, not socialism. Vote Biblical world views of morality, not agreement Sodomy and immoral debasement.

Honoring the men and women who helped us keep our four freedoms!

Memorial Day is a time to remember those who have sacrificed their time and lives for our freedom over the centuries. It has also become a holiday weekend in which we take time to enjoy those freedoms.

On January 6, 1941, President Franklin Roosevelt gave a speech to Congress about the four freedoms we enjoy in America, not necessarily enjoyed anywhere else. In December of that year we entered World War II to ensure that we would not lose such freedoms.

The Four Freedoms articulated by Roosevelt and later sculpted by Walter Russell were:
1. The freedom of speech and expression
2. The freedom to worship God in a person’s own way
3. Freedom from want
4. Freedom from fear

Today, we are in a societal battle to preserve these same freedoms. It bothers me that we no longer give a lot of attention to our founding fathers in schools across the country. Many of them are actually being vilified. Yet, over two hundred founding fathers gave their finances, time and their lives to sculpturing our future; a future in which we could enjoy “the four freedoms”.

Not only am I thankful for the living veterans and currently active military individuals, but I am also very thankful for the signers of the Declaration of Independence and for men like the uncompromising George Washington at and his rag-tag army’s final victory over the British. His leadership over the fledgling country is unparalleled in the history of nations.

I am proud of Francis Scott Key’s poetic writing of the brave example of the men who wouldn’t give in to tyranny and who defended our determination to be free by defending the flag that stood for our new republic.

I am thankful for men like Thomas Jefferson who presented the words of Jesus to be distributed to the Native Americans and his letter that declared no law could be made to take away our religious liberty and that the government was to have no authority over our religious inclinations or our churches. I am thankful he formed the navy to destroy the Muslim pirates at the battle of Tripoli and the Mediterranean Sea.

I am thankful for John Adams who gave such a clear vision of the uniqueness of America and his son, John Quincy Adams who mentored Abraham Lincoln, who brought about the destruction of slavery.

I am thankful for Martin Luther King’s influence, which brought about an end to laws still honoring slavery. I am thankful for his great speech, “I have a dream”, a vision of what we could accomplish and who we could be as an exceptional nation of goodness and mercy and truth put forth by Almighty God.

I am thankful for a nation that still displays its motto, “In God We Trust”, for surely there is not better reason to remember those who have given us the four freedoms to honor and cherish.
